S&N, Newcastle Brown Ale, England

S&N, Newcastle Brown Ale, England, upload feito originalmente por ralph&dot.

4.7% thin head, no detectable aroma, slightly sweet with a hint of caramel, over carbonated and for me has an odd after taste, not quite as bad as I remembered but not worthy of its reputation, I will not be buying it again, only bought this one as it was on offer and for the photo.

Probably the most famous English beer in the world, made in Gateshead not Newcastle (over the river Tyne) in the old Federation Brewery (this brewery was owned by the government until recently). Broon is usually only available in bottles where it is made and is supposed to be a bottled beer.
